What audio formats can I edit?
Import: MP3, WAV, M4A, FLAC, OGG. Export: MP3 (64-320kbps), WAV (lossless), M4A (AAC), FLAC (lossless), OGG.
How to trim audio?
Load your audio, drag the start and end handles on the waveform, preview the selection, then tap Apply Trim. You can also split audio at specific points.
Can I merge multiple audio files?
Yes. Go to Merge mode, add audio files, drag to reorder, adjust crossfade between tracks for smooth transitions, then tap Merge.
How to create a ringtone?
Trim audio to 40 seconds or less, add fade in and fade out, then export as ringtone. iOS exports as M4R, Android exports as MP3 to ringtones folder.
Are my audio files uploaded?
Absolutely not. SoundSmith works completely offline. All audio stays on your device. No uploads. No servers. Your privacy is 100 percent protected.
Can I add cover art?
Yes. Add cover art from gallery or camera. Edit with crop, filters, and text overlay. Cover art automatically embeds when exporting MP3 or M4A.
